Editorial

A study in depth, romance and atmosphere.

Crimson Reverie explores romance through depth, atmosphere, and dramatic composition.

Inspired by Prince’s “Adore,” this Chicago-based editorial concept interprets love through rich crimson florals, candlelit warmth, layered textures, and thoughtful styling. Rather than relying on softness alone, the design embraces intensity, creating an environment that feels immersive, intimate, and emotionally expressive.

The Inspiration

Inspired by the emotional depth of Prince’s “Adore“, Crimson Reverie explores romance through color, light and atmosphere.

  • Deep crimson floral compositions
  • Warm gold accents
  • Layered candlelight
  • Reflective surfaces and textured materials
  • Romantic ceremony styling
  • Intimate tablescape design

The Design Approach

Crimson Reverie is guided by contrast—light and shadow, saturation and restraint, boldness and intimacy.

The ceremony moment is conceived as a statement of devotion, with a sculptural heart form, mirrored aisle, and layers of red florals creating a visual language that feels iconic and emotionally charged. The tablescape continues the story through candle-driven warmth, gold flatware, crystal stemware, and tonal floral layering—each detail designed to draw guests further into the experience.

Every design element was selected to create an immersive guest experience while maintaining visual balance and cohesion throughout the environment.

From arrival through dinner, the environment was designed to encourage connection, conversation, and presence.

The combination of candlelight, layered florals, and intimate table settings created a setting that felt both celebratory and welcoming, allowing guests to feel immersed in the experience without distraction.

Every element contributed to a sense of warmth, romance, and shared occasion.through atmosphere, color and composition.

Crimson Reverie reflects House of Hndel’s ability to translate inspiration into a cohesive and immersive celebration.

Through thoughtful design, careful composition, and attention to guest experience, the editorial demonstrates how atmosphere can shape the way a celebration is remembered.
